This is a lovely self-guided cycling holiday in Italy, seeing you cycle between two of Italy's most iconic cities, Pisa and Florence.
Pisa, the ancient university town renowned for its iconic, leaning tower and its UNESCO World Heritage Site status, and Florence, the home of the Renaissance abd relished by art lovers world wide.
The route will take you through the beautiful Tuscan landscape dotted with vineyards, olive groves and historic towns, including Montecatini Terme, a charming spa towns in the hills that has attracted visitors for centuries.
This holiday follows mainly quiet roads with some sections on dirt tracks. The terrain is predominantly flat but there are occasional hilly sections. That being said, there is a great rail network in this part of the world and you can often jump on the train to shorten the daily distances.
